We are pleased to announce the first Children’s Illustration Exhibition sponsored by SCBWI SoCal (OC/IE).
Forty published Southern California illustrators will be selected to show original work from published children’s books, from June 13 through July 25, 2015, at the dA Center for the Arts in the Pomona Arts Colony. In this wonderful gallery space, the illustrations will be presented in tandem with a unique literacy program that will encourage children and adults to read the related books.
This show will be curated and there will be three "People's Choice Awards" given.
Among other opportunities during the month of the event, SCBWI National Illustrator Coordinator, Priscilla Burris, will present a mini-seminar on marketing that includes portfolio reviews.
